The subject that i chose was Jesus. I chose this because not only has he influenced my personal life but he has to be one of the most influential people in the history of the world. I used the picture of the wall and cross as the background and tried to make it look like graffiti. I had to do each line of text separately and get it the size that i wanted and then I rasterized the text so that i could put a layer effect on it which happened to be Color Dodge. I did the same with the crown of thorns as well as the nails. I extracted the picture of Jesus from another photo and make it very transparent to make it look sort of ghostly. I chose this verse because it is an important one that has meant a lot to my personal life.

Tree Haiku

Although it is really hard to see in this picture, I have a nice little haiku written in the fallen tree about nature. The techniques that i tried to use were to math the font color to the branches and then set a filter on the layer to get this effect. I liked how it really make the picture look natural.

Layers, Hue, and Saturation

This picture did not really turn out as well as i had hoped. I had trouble with cutting things out of images because they required me to freehand things. with the crazy colors i tried to portray a loud theme which i guess was semi-accomplished. I used the Broken Glass as well as the Sound Waves to really show how loud the guitar was.

Duotones

In this photo I added the Tent to the picture. I fooled around with many color schemes but i found that i was more drawn to the earthy colors. I like how they looked more natural and how they made the picture look almost vintage. I really liked how it turned out.
